Gregg Allman Engaged For A Seventh Time, This Time To A Cute 24 Year Old. It’s Good To Be A Musician I Guess!
USA Today: Married and divorced six times, rocker Gregg Allman, 64, told Piers Morgan Tuesday night that he plans to tie the knot once again, and he was joined in the studio by his 24-year-old fiancée, Shannon. (He didn’t give her last name.)
When Piers asked how she feels about becoming wife No. 7, Allman responds: “That’s not what she’s becoming. She’s becoming wife number one,” he said. “I don’t have a wife. Haven’t had one for years.” And, added The Allman Brothers Band founding member, “This time, I am really in love.”
Allman is on a book tour to promote his memoir, My Cross to Bear. Earlier this month, he had delayed the tour after experiencing arrhythmia following recent hernia surgery related to his 2010 liver transplant. Publicists say Allman underwent tests at the Jacksonville, Fla., clinic and was cleared to go.
Damn, it’s good to be or have been a famous musician huh. This is literally the dream of pretty much every guy out there. To basically always get to bang young hot chicks no matter how old you are. And since his fame has waned, it’s good that he’s marrying this one. This way he has at least 6 more years of banging this youngen until she gets too old (30 – ew!) and has to trade her in!
