The “Two and a Half Men” actor had been waging the battle for years — claiming he shouldn’t have to fork over a single cent to Sarah Trigger Cryer because she only looks after their young son 4% of the time.
The two divorced back in 2004 — and since then, the courts have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced Sarah’s parental rights because a family court does not believe she’s a fit parent.
But the California Court of Appeal believes lowering Jon’s child support obligation could have a negative effect on the child — and yesterday, it rejected Jon’s appeal.
The court explained, “Although, understandably, Jon may have found the situation unfair, the primary focus must remain on the child’s well-being, not the parents’ feelings.”
And don’t forget, this is the ex-wife that allegedly hired someone to kill Jon at one point. And she only has the kid 4% of the time and he still has to pay her ANY child support?!?!? And $8,000 a month!?!? WTF! Shouldn’t SHE be paying HIM since he has primary custody?? Holy crap! Man, that sounds like the freaking divorce from freaking hell. How exactly would the child’s well-being be affected for just 4%? God damn I hate the divorce courts. So one sided.
As always the courts are one sided. I will never understand why the man always has to pay but the woman does not. She’s living high on the hog while he’s out making a living for himself and his child. Why shouldn’t she have to get off her butt and go to work and pay him? So unfair! This is ridiculous…no wonder California produces such things as Nancy Pelosi with this illogical way of doing business.
